1 │ ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION
Artificial Insemination is a method of breeding cows by manually introducing semen into the animal during their optimal breeding period. AI offers numerous advantages for Highlands, including the ability to select genetics and time pregnancies.
2 │ EMBRYO TRANSFER
Embryo Transfer is a breeding method that allows us to grow our herd faster by using proven genetics from our top cows. We have flushed eggs from both Grace and Roxy to use in our program. This process allows embryos] to be transferred into recipient cows, helping us produce more calves from genetics we love while continuing to improve our herd.
